I had to report for work at 8 am. Woke up at 6 am, got dressed and left home while fighting with the heavy 'cats and dogs' rain. I swear the umbrella did help me by covering my upper body. My jeans and shoes were soaking wet and my legs went cramped all the way to Orchard. It was freaking cold in them!
Work was as usual. I kept quiet in the early hours cause i was still in 'dreamland'. I only woke up and smelt the cappucino only after about 1 pm. It took me about 5 hours to actually wake me up fully! I swear, no more late nights for me. But then again, i've got work tomorow at 7 am! Argh! (screams out loud and bangs head on wall)
Kakak, my manager, planned an outing a few days ago to the Botanical Gardens. So the four of us which were AB, Fadila, Kakak and myself headed to the garden, which is like a 'walkable' distance away, after work. We left the place to Khai's (there were to Khai's working in the afternoon shift) and also Pinky. We packed our sandwhiches, Snapple bottles and Scrabble and not forgetting two whole 'cut' baguettes to our little outing.
When we reached the place, we started throwing our 'expensive' Delifrance goodies into the pond. And yes, we received stares of course. Nobody knew we were from Delifrance so it was kind of 'stupid' to throw Baguettes into the pond! It was fun to just throw it for kicks. And yes the journey to the 'spot' i was telling them was like an Everest trip. Well maybe not so tough but still it made us sweat.
We reached the 'spot' which looked like a hut by the pond. We played Scrabble till we gave up with only 7 alphabetes left. Yes, we did cheat here and there but all in the name of fun. We took loads of candid and 'emo' pictures too! Crazy bunch we were and it was the first outing we ever had. I left them half way to meet my parents at Causeway point which i see practically everyday.
They did a little shopping for clothes and i scratched away. I had a sudden outbreak of rashes around my neck which was kind of freaky. I don't have allergies thats for sure. But this rashes came from no where. Im still scratching now.
