I
always had a thing for graphic design since my secondary school days. I even
forced had my art teacher to teach me a few tricks about it. He was a graphic designer before he became a teacher so it was really nice of him to go the extra mile. Now, three years after the whole affair, I finally get to do what I want to do. Design something.
Met Mr Vijay to
work. Apparently he wants us to work on a brochure for his organisation.
Us here refers to Khalis and myself. The APD team was suppose to work on this too but they couldn't make it, so I guess its only left with the two of us. Soon, it will only left with one and that's me cause Khalis has got work to do with PA. Damn.
I think what Varian said is true. Varian is one of the facilitators in my school. In the
real world
(makes me wonder if school is a dream) your client wants everything his way. He may change the words he uses but at the end of the day, its he's work and not yours
entirely. I don't blame them cause as a client, I too would want something that I think will work for me. So there we were trying to figure out how to be as
creative as possible but still sticking to his ideas. I came up with this an hour ago which I think will make a
little difference. He had a problem with the printing company thus I have to design the whole thing
black and white. Am I happy about it? Did I tell you I love black and white!
Sri Sri Ravi ShankarHe's is a master of yoga or something along that line. This is just an idea. Mr Vijay wants it to have a sunflower theme. Hmm, maybe a small sun flower at the side would do some justice. I hope its okay cause I kind of ran out of ideas to work on the small brochure which is still tentative in size. Grr. I don't really like working without anything concrete. But anyways, I
love my job. Cause it pays...
good money.
