Hi. Welcome to another segment of 'What the hell are we talking about?'. On today's show, we will be comparing between two different browsers. It will be a challenge between Opera and Mozilla Firefox. Please do note that this is not a professional review so you can screw it if you find it useless. This is coming from a simple Joe who know nuts about HTML codings but is in the media school. Now we must wonder what has he been learning in school for the past 16 weeks?
Currently using my family's laptop (cause I can't be bothered to switch on my own laptop) and using the Opera browser. First thing I see missing from the page is the 'tool' section. Blogger has this tools section where you get to change the font size and the aligment and stuff but apparently, the tool bar section in this browser is missing. Yes, completely missing. I just find it really weird. Damn, now I can't press the 'check for spelling errors' button. Guess you all will have to figure that one out by yourself.
The other funny thing about Opera is that it cannot open my Blog. When I enter my blog site, it doesn't seem to open. That is another weird thing about it. I will have to try it again later. The overall look of Opera is pretty decent though I don't know if they have any 'add ons' to their browser like what 'The Fox' can provide. Opera runs on really low memory (I don't really know the term for it but when you hit the 'Ctrl Alt Del' you will understand what I mean) Its way lower compared to the heavy duty Fox. Sometimes Firefox takes some time to load up due to the fact that its processing time is long. Oh, I think its called processes or something.
Fox in the other hand is pretty neat. I love the new functions like the spell check. Now you don't have to hit any more of those spell check buttons cause on the fox, they will auto check it for you and underline it. Something like doing it on Microsoft Word document. Pretty cool and effective. It even works in the blogs. Really really cool. Fox also has TONS of add ons for you to choose from and the best thing is that they actually rank them according to users star ratings. From those ratings you can actually assume who thinks what is good and what is bad. The overall look of Firefox is also nice cause you get to choose your own theme aka skin. Love it. Maybe I'm a little bias towards the fox cause I've been using it since year one and that I'm so used to it till I don't know that IE had an upgrade but still, its what I think as a user.
So now, I have said what I have to, I'm going to hit the bed cause its calling me.... I miss the girlfriend.
.: LoVeS :. (I can't even align this word! Damn!)
