ESPN. Thats short for
E (the) Sock Lian,
Prem and
Nadim show. The two people who I was very proud to share the stage with and to be with during my
beautiful journey in Drama's first external production. It was definitely a journey worthy to be mentioned for times to come. The people mentioned above are actually Janice
(Sock Lian), Gurmit
(Prem) and myself. Our characters for the production. In the story, the three
good friends figure a way to get rid of the swordfishes that are attacking
Temasek. Cut story short,
Sock Lian left for Fujian,
Prem to India and
Nadim died. And it felt that way, in reality.
Janice left RP to pursue her interest in the arts at La Salle,
Gurmit was still around but we hardly meet due to the fact that the
link between us was missing and I'm obviously not dead but I never did keep in contact with them. There were three
good friends in
Redhill Blues. There were three
good friends in Singapore. The three friends went their separate ways in Redhill Blues. The three friends went their separate ways in reality. But
today, the three friends meet again after
so long, together as
ESPN.
The early afternoon was spent with the girlfriend, watching a movie. Each time I'm with her, it feels like as though its the last day I'll see her. Thats how much I cherish the moment spent with her. Left the house to meet the rest. She insisted that I should enjoy my day with them without her. Janice was late but I'm glad she didn't stood us up or I would have really killed her. Ate with Gurmit while waiting for Janice to come along. Bumped into ALOT of my friends who I have not met for a long time too. First I saw Nurul, Fida, Yani and gang at City Hall MRT. Then I bumped in Wala Wala (Faridah), Sarah, Najibah and her sister Ayun at the Donut shop in Raffles City. I've not met them for quite some time now too. This is a special shout out.
SARAH! Thanks for the donut! Thank you lah! You girls are the best!
