looking for new songs to add to my current play list. Apparently, I've been missing out alot on main stream songs cause I hardly listen to the radio and I don't check up regularly on the artist. I don't have a favourite artist or a fixed genre. I listen to practically everything. I depend alot on friends and people who blast their stereos in class. But guess what, its the freaking holidays! So, I'm left alone to do my own little research. And the best thing is, I am an idiot when it comes to the titles of the songs. I wouldn't know the title of a song I like, so I would have to
Google words found in their chorus which I think makes up the title. Like they say, good things will come in the end. Is it? Not sure about that line but somewhere along that line.
I had a job interview in
Sentosa at 4 pm. The time was 2 in the afternoon and I had 2 hours to burn. Do the math, ain't that hard. I was walking around
Vivo City when I remembered that my friends from
Delifrance are working there too. Went to meet Khai who was working in Pacific Coffee Company. I usually give surprises to my friends cause I don't like to disturb them when they are working. Obviously, the guy couldn't recognized me due to the new hairstyle. Found out that the kid's going to enter army soon. Very soon. Next Friday to be exact. Guess I met him at the right time. All the best man.
Heard from him that our ex manager/sister's friend/ex school mate of mine is working a few steps away from where I was. She was working in some cafe. She was pretty shocked to see me as well. But hey, I just came to say hi and that's it. Its nice to meet up your old friends and to do a little catching up. Its just a sign to say that you're being remembered and that we will keep in touch if there is a need to. To end the whole 'catching up session' met nenek at Harbour Front Center. I call her nenek cause that's what she asked us to call her. She's actually called Auntie Annie and she's 70 I think. Yes, she is still working and she is working in Delifrance bistro. I wouldn't want to do that when I get to that age. I would rather be at home resting my ass after years of hard work. I guess she just loves moving around.
So I've met most of my old friends except Kakak and Fadilah. I don't really know where they are exactly but I only heard stories about their whereabouts. I will find them eventually. Soon. I hope. Met the lovely dovey at 3 pm and we headed to the interview together. I decided to drag her along so we could work our asses during the holidays.
The interview. Well, err. I don't want to talk about it cause there's nothing much to talk about except I think the only people who were most vocal during the
group interview are my lovely dovey and myself. I think its the RP syndrome. We got out of the board room and decided to meet the people who were working at Delifrance. Wonderful people indeed. We walked around for awhile and ended up eating McDonald's at Harbour Front.
Something strange happened today which I think is really really cool. There wasn't much talk going on between the two of us for the whole day. We kept quite for most of the time but there was this
aura around us that made me feel good. She didn't have to say anything but I know deep inside, she cares. I didn't have to say anything and she knows I'm in love with her. Maybe it was the way we held each others hand and the look we gave. So, maybe its true. More than words to show how much you love someone.....
